TERMS & CONDITIONS — Straata Sovereign Security Services

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Straata’s cybersecurity services, consultation bookings, assessments, and any related products delivered through Codeus. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these terms in full.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms & Conditions, you must discontinue use of our website and services.

2. Service Scope

Straata provides sovereign perimeter security, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, managed security operations, incident response planning, compliance guidance, and related cybersecurity services.

All services are delivered according to the scope defined during consultation, proposal, or service agreement.

Straata reserves the right to modify, expand, or discontinue services at any time.

3. Consultation Bookings

Consultations booked through the Straata appointment system are non‑binding and informational. Straata may decline or reschedule consultations based on availability, security requirements, or operational constraints.

You agree to provide accurate information when booking an appointment.

4. Confidentiality

Straata treats all client information, system details, and security concerns as confidential. We do not disclose or share client data except where required by law or explicitly authorized by the client.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

  • Provide accurate system information
  • Ensure authorized access for assessments
  • Maintain backups before any testing
  • Follow Straata’s security recommendations where applicable

Straata is not responsible for issues arising from outdated systems, misconfigurations, or failure to implement recommended security measures.

6. Liability

Straata provides cybersecurity services on a best‑effort basis. While we aim to reduce risk and strengthen your security posture, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

Straata is not liable for:

  • Damages resulting from cyberattacks
  • Loss of data
  • Service interruptions
  • Third‑party actions
  • Misuse of recommendations

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service rendered.

7. Payment & Billing

All paid services must be settled according to the terms outlined in your invoice or service agreement. Late payments may result in suspension of services.

8. Termination

Straata may terminate services for:

  • Non‑payment
  • Abuse of systems
  • Illegal activity
  • Violation of these Terms & Conditions

Clients may terminate services according to their service agreement.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

10. Updates

Straata may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
